Love my Roku system, EXCEPT the sound/mute buttons on the right side of the remote control. It is impossible to pick up or handle the remote without running into the buttons accidentally. They are positioned in the worst possible location on the remote. The system would be perfect were it not for this engineering failure.

I used to have the same problem, at first. It only took a few days until I got used to their location and learned to avoid them.
There are some different ways of holding remotes. I scoop the remote up with my hand underneath and press buttons with my thumb. But I’ve learned via forums, that some people grab remotes with their thumb and some fingers on each side and then press buttons with their index finger. If however you do it now is not working, try another way.
If you can’t make it work for you, you can reprogram those buttons so they do nothing and use the TV remote for the TV.
