Screensaver is different when paused than when it turns on at home screen

I have a new hisense roku tv, and the screensaver is set to winter wonderland and when I'm at my home screen and thr tv is inactive, the screensaver turns on to the winter wonderland as it is set... ...

Sorry, there's nothing you can do.  When a video is paused it doesn't have the free resources available to run you chosen screensaver.  You get the "low resource" screensaver which is generally "Logo Rain".

Oh no what a bummer! I never had this issue with my roku sticks or boxes, I do not love that the roku tv does this 😟.
