Roku TV screen fell off in middle of the night

Hiya,

So i have only owned this Roku TV since Oct 2020. Last night my darn screen separated from the TV falling forward and just hanging there when I woke up. WTH! Never in my life have I seen anything like this. I can not find where I can complain to Roku. Frustrated! Can anyone help please.

Thanks Steve

Well, their web site does say a one year warranty. But you lose nothing by contacting them and describing what happened. Often companies will resolve issues even after the official warranty has expired.

Roku does not manufacture the TVs, they only provide the operating system. You need to contact whomever built your TV and inquire about possible warranty coverage. This page provides contact points for each TV manufacturer that sells Roku TVs.

  • WoW! Who's the manufacturer of that disaster?

I know some people will pooh-pooh it, but getting an extended warranty on stuff like this is worth it, IMO. I got a 4-year extended warranty on my 40" TCL for $16.23, and a 3-year on my 50" for about $20. They run concurrently with the manufacturers warranty, so it essentially beefs up the first year, then adds the additional years. So if your TVs face falls off 366 days after buying it, you know you can have it replaced for free.

It's not two years old (one year and 5 months), and without knowing the manufacturer we don't know if it's out of warranty.
