Roku Stick Sony Oled no 4k

Hi all,

 I’m extremely familiar with roku (own 10 of them) and very familiar with samsung and sony tvs. Recently added a new streaming 4k stick to my 2024 Sony Oled x90l. I have all the hdmi ports enabled as 4k enhanced, but cannot get my roku to do anything other than 1080p. It’sa stick so it’s not a cable issue, I’ve tried both hdmi 1 and hdmi 3 (earc), I’ve unplugged it multiple times and reset the Roku. It recognized 4k on my Samsung tv, so what gives? There’s nothing else to do on the Sony, help

    I will dig around for a manual resource for you, but I believe the different HDMI ports support different resolutions of 4k on some Sony models. 

    Try disconnecting everything from the HDMI ports.

    Place the Roku 4k stick into each of the HDMI ports and see if you can get one to respond correctly.

    How about if you actually play 4k content. Is the display changing when actually streaming 4k content?
