Roku sound bar not recognizing HDMI arc on Vizio tv
I have my sound bar plugged into the HDMIARC but it’s telling me that it’s not. I went to the settings on my Vizio TV and the audio. It’s where it’s supposed to be and still not working.

Even though from what I've read the cable shouldn't make a difference, I know I had a problem with a cheap cable. It sounds like I got the same results as you with that cable and a Streambar, but a better cable just worked.
