Really Roku? No response?
My screensaver settings are still being messed with. I plugged my Roku in and it was reverted to 10 minutes wait time. I switched it to 30 minutes which is what I want. I unplugged my Roku and plugged it back in checked the setting and it's once again on 10 minutes wait time.
What the helll did you people do in the last update? I no longer have control over how long it takes for the screensaver to come on because it keeps reverting to the new glitched 'default mode' of 10 minutes.
You guys at Roku created this problem with your terrible update. You are responsible for fixing it! Stop ignoring it! This is not acceptable!
You guys need to properly test stuff before you force out updates that screw up people's device settings.
It would be really convenient if there was a way to downgrade back to the previous version of software when things like this happen until the bugs are fixed. But of course Roku doesn't allow you to do this. We must be stuck with the glitched update until they get around to fixing it.
Terrible company!
Dear Roku,
I can confirm I have the same problem. I think it started maybe a couple months ago. At first I thought it was a YouTube issue, because I frequently cast YouTube videos from my phone to my Roku stick, but eventually I correlated it to the Roku screensaver coming on, and I have tried several times to increase the screen saver time, and every time it resets back to 10 minutes. It's so annoying because I'll be reading comments on a YouTube video I just watched, and the screen saver will come on, and it disconnects the YouTube app on my phone from casting, and it causes an error message to display on the video. Then I have to close and reopen the video on my phone to find the place in the comments I was reading. Please fix as this is driving me nuts!!

And now I can confirm that it's happening also on my Streambar 9102, also OS version 14.5.4 Build 5944. Normally, I just leave the Screensave Start Time at 10 minutes on this device, but in the interest of science, I changed it to 30 minutes, restarted the Streambar and -- drum roll -- it had reverted to 10 minutes! This should be a simple bug to find and fix, if anyone at Roku is even paying attention to the problems users report.
