Tried to find a way to contact app support, not available. Tried to go through Apple App Store app support, it says Roku doesn’t have that available. Can’t find an email for Roku support, doesn’t seem to exist. The “chat” function isn’t good, and isn’t even available right now. Today my Roku remote app used 40% oh my iPhone 16 pro battery. It’s been using a lot more than I’d expect, but this was crazy.
You will never get good support directly from Roku or the Roku moderators here, and even if your issue reached them it will fall on deaf ears. Best you can do is leave a bad review in the app store.
The Roku app connects to your device using wireless connections which are always a battery hog. The way Roku forces advertisements down our throats I would not be surprised if the app was constantly phoning home with all the data it harvested from your phone. Your only real option is to uninstall the app.
