When the Roku devices and the RokuTVs miss a couple of updates, and the USB update does not work for the RokuTV, as reflected in your other posting, https://community.roku.com/t5/Roku-setup/TCL-55in-Roku-TV-55S20-won-t-update-with-usb-nor-via-internet-update/m-p/861496#M22287, then Roku support will likely have to intervene to get you back up and running.

Unfortunately, I think you will need Roku to progressively update the RokuTV. (ie. 9 to 10, then 10 to 11, etc.  Can't just update straight to 11 and beyond if the USB update file is not working).

You can try connecting to a mobile hotspot if available to you to see if you can update that way, but I think you will likely run into the same firmware incompatibility issues.

Paging RokuDanny-R , RokuKariza-D , and RokuMary-F who can get you to the support team.

      Hi pnd258

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community!

We would recommend performing a factory reset on your Roku TV and see if the TV will update to the latest OS. Please also make sure that you have a stable internet connection when activating and updating your Roku TV.

Perform the following steps with your Roku remote or the Roku mobile app.

      1. Press Home on your Roku remote
      2. Scroll and select Settings
      3. Select System
      4. Select Advanced system settings
      5. Select Factory reset
      6. If you have a Roku TV, select Factory reset everything. Otherwise, move to the next step.
      7. Follow the on-screen instructions

For more information, check out this link: How to system restart or factory reset your Roku streaming device

Let us know how it goes!

      All the best,
      Kariza
