RokuEmmanuel-D Hey there. I logged out of my account on the app and logged back in and it continued to disconnect. I deleted then reinstalled the app and it worked for a minute, but when I open another app like tiktok or Facebook and go back to the Roku app, it disconnects again. my app is updated as well. It is also doing the same thing on my partner’s phone and he’s done all the steps as well

Connect to your Roku device manually
Locate the IP address of your Roku device by going to Settings > Network > About, and then use the steps below to connect manually.
- Launch the Roku mobile app
- Tap Devices
- Tap Get help?
- Select Connect manually
- Enter the IP address of your Roku device and tap CONNECT

RokuEmmanuel-D Hey again! I manually connected my Roku device. However the issue is still active, when I get on TikTok and a few other apps my phone still disconnects. I repeatedly have to swipe out of the app and reopen it. I checked for updates on the App Store, but the Roku app is still up to date. Are there any other options?

Is this only happening on this mobile device? If so, have you tried installing the app on another device to see if the issue persists?
Furthermore, could you tell us on what mobile device is the Roku App installed?

RokuEmmanuel-D Sorry for the long delay, but both my boyfriend and I have iPhones and the issue happens to both of us. We’ve both uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as manually connecting the Roku tv to the app. Unfortunately the issue is still continuing
