Roku app not staying connected
Has anyone else had an issue with the Roku app disconnecting when you go out of the app and go back into it? I can open the app, use it, go to a different app or just lock my phone and open it back ...

- Try removing and then reinstalling the app to see if the issue is resolved.
- Try to sign out then sign in on the app again.
- You may also try it on a different phone and see if the app behavior is also observed.
- Make sure the app is up to date. Check for any new firmware on the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

RokuEmmanuel-D Hey there. I logged out of my account on the app and logged back in and it continued to disconnect. I deleted then reinstalled the app and it worked for a minute, but when I open another app like tiktok or Facebook and go back to the Roku app, it disconnects again. my app is updated as well. It is also doing the same thing on my partner’s phone and he’s done all the steps as well

Connect to your Roku device manually
Locate the IP address of your Roku device by going to Settings > Network > About, and then use the steps below to connect manually.
- Launch the Roku mobile app
- Tap Devices
- Tap Get help?
- Select Connect manually
- Enter the IP address of your Roku device and tap CONNECT

EmmanRokuEmmanuel-D Hey again! I manually connected my Roku device. However the issue is still active, when I get on TikTok and a few other apps my phone still disconnects. I repeatedly have to swipe out of the app and reopen it. I checked for updates on the App Store, but the Roku app is still up to date. Are there any other options?
