Roku 4 remote, will it work with Roku Ultra?

I have a remote that came with a Roku 4 that I hardly ever use.  The remote that I use daily with a Roku Ultra on a different TV is losing its 4-way button.  Thought I'd save some money and try the R...

    In theory it should, but many older remotes just stop pairing, they blink  forever until you pull the batteries. I have many Roku 3 remotes like that. If you don't want to pay $20 or $30 for replacement  remote get a cheap universal your ultra will accept IR commands too.

      It's not hopeless until you have verified, with FRESH batteries in the remote, that it will not pair to your Ultra.
