reset onn roku tv have a simple roku remote unable connect to wifi because no paired remote pl help

I have an onn 32 inch roku tv for which i do not have the remote that came with the tv. I used the reset button located on back of the tv to reset it. now i am unable to connect the tv to wifi because i only have a roku simple remote and it isn't operating the tv. please help

    Sorry, your simple remote won't work with any RokuTV and you need a working remote now that you've reset it.  You can get a Voice Remote at a local store (Walmart, Target) or look for a universal remote that supports Roku TVs.

      Do you have an old Directv or cable remote lying around? I might be able to give you a code for your Roku tv?
