Same deal. I've reset and unplugged and continue to be stuck on the pairing screen. Funny thing is, it worked when I first set it up, then once the power went off and back on it no longer worked
Thanks for the post.
If you are unable to resolve the issue, can you please provide the serial number/device ID on your Roku device? I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny

... Model:3810x ...That model was discontinued seven months ago. That means the batteries sat for at least that long. And since it's unusual for a device to be sold as new that long after discontinuance, I'm wondering if there's something else that might figure into this.
And, "tried everything" isn't helpful in telling what you've done. If you have actually tried everything, then it's defective and should be returned. The comparable replacement to the 3810 would be the 3820 Roku Streaming Stick 4K, which is currently on sale for $39. At that price, and exchange may be a good idea, unless you got a really great bargain on the 3810.
But in case there is something that wasn't tried, follow the instructions on this page, scrolling down to "Pair your voice remote during setup." And do not consider the batteries in that box as new. They've been sitting on a shelf for months, possibly years.

I guess I should have been more exact in my statement…I tried everything I could think of and found on this forum, but I was hoping someone smarter than I could impose some new wisdom that wasn’t documented already. As part of MY “tried everything”, it included the process you reference as well as new batteries…2 different sets in case the new new ones weren’t new anymore. Based on your feedback, I guess it must be defective and will exchange.

Same! Brand new out of the box and will not pair to remote. I’ve troubleshooted for 3 hours trying to get it to work.

Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? How is your Roku device being powered? Is the device plugged into the TV USB port or is it plugged into a wall outlet? Have you put new batteries in the remote? When you are directed to pair your remote, do you follow the steps shown on screen?
With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,

My Roku is plugged into wall. I have tried resetting Roku multiple times using reset button without any luck. I have two remotes rechargeable and battery one and both are fully charged/new pair of batteries. I have followed instructions to reset Roku, put batteries on once Roku reboots, press pair button on remote for 20-40 seconds, both the remote blinks but Roku is stuck on pairing screen. I am not able to operate my Roku. Thanks

We’ve lost power before and it’s come back on just fine- until this last time. Now it is blinking constantly but not connecting. I did every step of the websites troubleshooting: unplugging, resetting, new batteries, plug into wall- the whole 9 yards. Then I found this and went through all the suggestions- nothing. It’s stuck on the pairing screen and the remote is still just blinking.

Hello Jewels1
Thanks for reaching out.
Could you provide us with the serial and model number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote? It can be found at the back or underneath the player itself. I'll be able to further assist you from there.
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
All the best,
