Remote Pro 2: Buttons delay response issue

Within the last couple of weeks my remote pro ver. 2 has become very unresponsive, but not totally unresponsive.  What I mean is...  I am having to push a button 2, 3, 4 times  or more every time I want to switch apps or switch channels within an app.  It's very aggravating.  I've already re-paired the remote, but that did not solve the problem.  Having a full charge does not make it any better.  Anything else I can try to fix this?

    Looks like you're dealing with some delayed button response on your Roku remote. Thanks for already trying a few workarounds. 

    Consider trying these steps: Reset the Roku remote

    1. If your remote has one, hold the Pairing button for 20 seconds
    2. If no pairing button, press and hold Back + Home for 20 seconds
    3. Wait for the light on your remote to stop flashing

      Hi RokuSuzette,

      Sorry for the delayed response.  I must have missed the notification that someone responded to my post.

      I've re-paired my remote multiple times, checked the battery level, recharged it to 100% and  restarted the device.  Nothing seems to work.  Sadly, it may be time for a new remote. (though this one isn't that  old)

        Thanks for the update and for giving the troubleshooting steps a try. Could you let us know when and where you purchased your Roku remote? Also, did it come bundled with your Roku device, or was it bought separately?
