jh5555, it may not be the remote; it may be the Roku device. What's the model number written on the Roku device and does it use the special USB cable with the Wi-Fi module embedded in it?
Model number: 43S517, No USB attached.
FYI, I have been watching this TV for over 2 years and had no problems with this remote. While watching TV, pop up appeared saying something like "Pair Remote". I pressed paring button., then green light keep blinking and never paired. Remote works only on/off.
jh5555, can you use the mobile app as a remote? If so, use it and then try going through the pairing routine under Settings->Remotes & devices->Remotes. You may have to add the remote again.
As something more simple to try, with the remote in pairing mode (green light flashing), unplug the power from the TV briefly and then turn it on once you plug it in again. The TV may recognize the remote once it powers on.
