I have a 65” TCL with ROKU and am having similar problems with my Voice / standard battery remote. This is the second remote purchased as the original remote failed as well. My current remote was operational until 9 MAR 24. Observation was that I had paused a program on Peacock for dinner and when I went back, all I could do was adjust the volume up and down and turn the tv on and off. None of the other buttons including the play/pause button, the four preprogrammed buttons, up down left right - nothing but power and volume worked.
I used my cell phone camera to verify the IR was illuminating and observed the IR blink when the power and volume buttons were mashed but none of the other buttons would illuminate the IR when mashed.
I measured the batteries voltage at 1.5VDC but replaced them with new batteries that measured 1.6VDC. Same indications were observed with the IR blinking with power and volume buttons with the fresh batteries.
How long are the remotes supposed to work? Mine failed a month after I couldn’t return it through Amazon.

I’m having the exact issue with my Roku remote. It will turn my 55” Vizio tv on/off and control the volume. However, Homescreen and all other buttons do not function. We’ve done nothing out of the ordinary use.
I have a Roku Streaming Stick and I’ve replaced batteries and the remote was purchased about 2 months ago.
