Pro TV remote voice switch doesn't function

All of a sudden I noticed the voice command in the settings screen is stuck on "on."  It will not change with the remote switch on the side. Can't turn off. I never used it anyway but I noticed the r...

To get started, could you let us know which Roku device you have and the type of Roku remote you're using? Does your remote have a pairing button on the back or under the battery cover?

In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the remote issue:

  1. Restart your Roku device:

    • Unplug the power cord for at least 5 seconds, then reconnect it.
    • Once you see the Home screen, follow the next steps to pair your remote.

  2. Pair your remote:

    • If your remote has a pairing button, press and hold it for 5 seconds (or until the status light starts flashing) to enter pairing mode.
    • If there's no pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 5 seconds (or until the status light starts flashing).

This should help resolve the issue. If you still experience difficulties, please reply, and we'll assist you further.

Roku 55Pro TV. /w voice remote and no Pairing button. This was just an inquiry. We don't use Voice commands at this time. The situation was as follows: When accessing settings menu then remotes & devices, Hands-free voice setting is "ON" sometimes and "OFF" sometimes. When switch is turned "on" on side of remote, The status in the menu settings does not change.. 

Really wondering why this setting Changes on to off and visa versa when no action from a user was taken..
