justcurtis The power button and volume control your TV.  Your Roku device is not working, it is not the remote.  Make sure the Roku device has power from a wall outlet not the TV USB port.  Also make sure all HDMI connections are ok.  When you unplug the Roku and plug it back in the bouncing ROKU letters should be on the TV.  Also make sure the TV is on the correct input.

    Hi there! Lukeanth

    Thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like the power button on your Roku remote is only working one way, which usually indicates that the remote's power control setup might need to be reconfigured or is having trouble communicating with your TV.

Let’s try a few steps to resolve this:

    1. Set up the remote for TV control:

      • Press Home on your Roku remote
      • Scroll and select Settings
      • Choose Remotes & devices
      • Select Remote
      • Pick your voice remote from the list and select Set up remote for TV control
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup

    2. Restart the remote:

      • Hold the Back button and the Home button together for a full 20 seconds to restart the remote.
    3. Re-pair the remote:

      • After restarting, try re-pairing the remote to your Roku device.

Let me know how it goes or if you need further help!

    Cheers!
