I think the aircraft carrier is Final Countdown
The cruise ship getting hit by wave is Poseidon Adventure
Maybe it's because I'm a Navy man, but am I the only one who noticed that aircraft are landing the wrong way on the carrier? Aircraft and launched toward the bow and recovered by the stern. In the screensaver, you can clearly see an aircraft, nose up, landing from the bow towards the stern.
And if any aircraft are parked on the flight deck, they are parked at the front of the ship, never at the rear.
Concur, and it's been bugging me everytime it pans by....
Good point... I was thinking that it is the USS Abraham Lincoln from the movie "Stealth". Notice there are three fighters in the air and one that appears to be doing a vertical takeoff from the deck. This could be the three F/A 37 Talons and the one on the desk could be the "EDI". (Extreme Deep Invader).
