Hi there! KenIrwin
Thanks for your insights!
Yes, indeed! Currently, the maximum number of devices you can set up on an account is 20. This limit is intentional to prevent accounts from becoming too crowded, as one Roku subscription covers all 20 devices. However, I understand your point, and we appreciate your feedback. Thank you for your continued support of Roku and for helping us improve it even more!
Cheers!

Too crowded for what, exactly? I truly fail to see where ANY consumer would welcome having to maintain multiple accounts so that each one could be a bit less cluttered. For the vast majority of your users, they are probably not even aware there is such a limit, but for users such as myself it's just a major annoyance that I can see no practical reason for, and the number of users like myself will only increase over time. While I can possibly understand why such a limit was imposed 15 years ago, 15 years is an eternity in consumer electronics. 15 years ago only about half of all households even had a broadband internet connection capable of streaming video over something like a Roku, today it's nearly universal. I mean 15 years ago you were competing with Blockbuster retail stores, and Netflix DVD by mail service.
When I bought my first Roku device, streaming devices were your only product. Now you have wandered into smart bulbs, security cameras, switches, doorbells and lighting. Do you impose similar limits on those type of devices? I am quite curious to be honest. I have more than 20 smart switches in my home, more than 20 security cameras, more than 10 times that number of smart bulbs, I have individual rooms with more smart bulbs than that. I mean I have that many IoT connected mini-split AC/Heat Pump units in my house each with it's own Ecobee thermostat. I've not had to split my devices across multiple accounts for any of those things.
