Issues with airplay on my roku express 4k

I am unable to airplay from my iPhone or mac to my roku express 4k device. Once i enter the airplay pin it tells me it's incorrect. I need help resolving this.

      Same issue I put the code in and it’ll just keep asking me for the code again and again, bought two of these devices and neither will airplay

        We are aware of this issue with the Airplay code that does not work with Roku devices. Our Roku-appropriate team is already working on it.

        To further investigate this issue, we would like to have your Roku device details that are affected by it so that we can forward them to our Roku-appropriate team. Please provide us with the following details below.

        • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
        • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)

      I am having the same issues too! The AirPlay code just keeps asking me for the code and I can’t move on!

    I have the same problem. Whenever I try to connect to airplay from Macbook (tried 2 different ones) or my Iphone (15 with latest iOS) it presents me with the code but the code never works. I also tried using the password option and it does not work.

    I have read the article posted to confirm my devices (macbooks and iphones I'm using) are at the right levels and they are.

    I have tried to use multiple networks with my devices.

    I have checked for system updates.

    This was working seamlessly with my old roku. When I bought the Roku Express 4k and put it on the same tv and same network as my previous Roku, the airplay stopped working. 

    I need this Roku to work with Airplay as I use it for educational purposes.

    Please post a way to debug this and figure out what is going on.

  • I have a Roku Express 4K+ model streaming device that is equipped with Apple Airplay, but I am unable to connect my iPhone or iPad to the device and use the Airplay functionality. I have tried restarting both devices, resetting network settings/connections, verified Airplay is 'ON' and set to 'Prompt' and nothing is working.

    The Roku Device shows up in my iPhone's Screen Mirroring list, but when I select it, a prompt never comes up on the TV or phone requesting a PIN/password.

      We want to gather more information to investigate further. Can you please provide the following details?

      • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
      • Tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue arise, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
      • Make and model of your phone and iOS version

  • New Roku Express 4k 3941 device not showing up for Airplay screen mirroring/cast.

    Device is updated, already tried all the online steps found.

    * Device is on the same network

    * Update and restarted (both Roku and iPhone/MAC)

    * Screen Mirroring always enabled

    * Airplay on/off

    * HomeKit Setup NOT working, probably because the Roku can't be found, so tied to the AirPlay issue

    Any other ideas suggestions?

  • For anybody wondering.. tried everything and engaged support, not good.

    Brought it to a different network, had a a bit improvement.. the Roku was appearing as a device for Scree Mirroring, still NOT on Cast options on Apps, BUT:

    But, when trying to connect it asks for the passcode on the iPhone/MAC, you put in the code and it says its wrong and fails.. found another post, link below, and this seems to be an issue for at least the past 4 months.. 

    Seems like this is not good and return is the only options, need to go into another option.
