How to turn off Auto-Connect to networks

We recently purchased our first Roku TVs so still have lots to learn. Our biggest obstacle right now is getting the TV to not auto-connect. I know everyone else wants their TV to auto-connect but we are facing connection issues with 4 streaming tvs working with 2 hotspots. If the tvs are off, is connection to the hotspot causing delays to other devices & using data? Can we change a setting so the TV can be not connected to any network? Any help will be appreciated.
