So I bought a new Roku tv recently and I’ve noticed that while I have the closed captions off from system settings, when I turn them on for streaming services like Hulu or Disney + the closed captions turn on the closed captions for the whole tv. Is there a way to stop this?
TabiZ when you are in a specific app like Disney+ or Hulu, turn on the close captioning from the app itself and not the TV. I’ve found when I’m watching a Show with my friend who’s French we turn close caption, while we are in the app on the episode itself. When I do it that way, it doesn’t carryover to the whole TV experience hopefully that helps.
