Backdrops and PhotoStreams not displaying Google album, even though connected

This worked the entire first day I installed my Roku.  Now it shows blank place holders, but will not show any pictures. When screen saver starts, instead of pictures it just shows "Roku Photo Stream...

I have the same issue PLEASE make available the old "GOOGLE PHOTOS" app! It worked semlessly and perfect! this roku photostreams is totally useless you cant organize albums and you cant view a single photo its too complicated! PLEASE FIX
