Backdrops and PhotoStreams not displaying Google album, even though connected

This worked the entire first day I installed my Roku.  Now it shows blank place holders, but will not show any pictures. When screen saver starts, instead of pictures it just shows "Roku Photo Stream...

Exactly the same here, This has been happening ever since I installed Photo Streams and Backdrops. The oddest thing is that the thumbnails are blank only in the evenings, If I run either app in the morning or during the rest of the day; they work perfectly.

We understand that you're also encountering the same behavior when using the backdrops and screensaver on your Roku, and we'd like to look closely into this. 

To help us in the investigation, kindly supply the following information below. 

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and Software Version. (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID)

     am having the same problem.  I have restarted and that did nothing.  Screensaver and Backdrops both connecter to my Google photos.   Keep getting the same beach and trees.   

     

     

    Model G204 - Roku TV

      Same problem here too.  It sometimes works but usually doesn't.  Seems like a common problem.
