Any updates on Roku 55" tv repeating live tv?

We understand you're concerned about the repetitive Live TV on your Roku TV. We're happy to investigate further.

Can you please provide the following information below?

  • Do you have an external device like an antenna plugged in at the back of your TV?
  • Could you send us a photo?

We have a line that is connected to the antenna/cable port for our whole house antenna. Other than that there is a USB flash drive. We have 2 smart tv's. One is a ROKU (which has had had the repeating issue for about 1.5 years now. The other tv is a TCL tv. Same hookup on that tv, as it also has the ability to pause live tv. We have no issues with the TCL and never have. The only tv that has issues is the ROKU tv. 

We have replaced the flash drive more than once, per previous suggestions. We have sent error report codes and done all that was previously asked of us. It would be very nice to have the ability to watch live tv without having this repeating issue, which also causes voices to mismatch to the actors.

    Thanks for keeping us posted!

    You may be able to receive free “over-the-air” TV broadcasts from nearby TV stations, depending on where you live, using an HDTV antenna. The placement of your HDTV antenna can affect which TV stations you can receive and the quality of the signal. You can refer to the webpage Antenna Web for more information on accessing broadcast TV in your area.

      Hi John,

       

      I saw your reply. With our whole house antenna we do get several digital channels. Some reach as far away as 75+ miles away. Since we live near a major city we get all of the local viewing channels with no issue. It's just the garble/repeat of the live tv portion that is the issue. It has been the issue since November of 2023.

        Same issue with my 40" Select Series FHD TV.  Support has been no help!
