4 buttons at the bottom of the remote

Can the 4 buttons at the bottom of the remote be programmed for channels I watch?

  • If you mean the service labeled buttons, the answer is no. At least not officially. I don't know if anyone has hacked the remotes. Basically, those services PAY Roku to get put on the remote, so it could only be done by hacking the remote.

That said, you could use a universal remote if you do NOT have a Roku Stick. Some can be programmed to send codes for some services, including some that no longer exist (Blockbuster anyone?)
