Wireless Doorbell -- Not getting audio from doorbell to phone and phone to doorbell

Just got this for Christmas and have video working fine, however, not getting any audio from doorbell to phone and phone to doorbell...was momentarily able to get audio from doorbell to roku tv, but that no longer seems to be the case.  Auto responses to the doorbell do work so speaker on doorbell is fine.  i checked firmware, it's within 30 ft of wifi signal, i've rebooted many times, deleted out of smart home app and reinstalled it.  No help....please assist.

  • Hi jblust524,

Thank you for posting in the Roku Community! We are glad to have you here.

We appreciate you letting us know that the 2-way audio of your Roku Wire-free Video Doorbell is not working. We would be more than willing to assist you with this.

Let's see if this will work for you.

    1. Check if the Roku Smart Home app and doorbell firmware are up to date.
    2. Restart the doorbell.
Doorbell page > settings > Restart Device
    3. Power cycle the doorbell.
Flip the breaker switch that is powering the doorbell to the “OFF” position, wait 10 full seconds, and flip the breaker switch back to the “ON” position.
    4. Factory reset doorbell.
      > Press in on the doorbell while also pushing it up to remove it from the backplate. This exposes the back wiring and setup button.
      > Press and hold the setup button until the status light turns solid yellow.
      > Once the light turns solid yellow, release the setup button and wait for the light to begin flashing again.
      > From there, set the doorbell up again as if it were a new device.
    5. Check the signal strength.
Settings > Device Info> Signal Strength
If it is below 3 bars, try moving the camera closer to the router.
