Outdoor roku wireless camera

I just installed the roku outdoor wireless camera, it's great, but when I try to speak to whoever is outside it's just a loud scratchy sound that comes out no voice... is there something I can do to fix this? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    We appreciate you contacting us about the two-way audio issue you were having with the Roku outdoor wireless camera. We're happy to assist you further.

    1. Confirm the Roku Smart Home app and camera firmware are up to date.
    2. Force close the app.
    3. Power cycle the camera.

    Please try doing this and see if it helps with what you're experiencing.
