It relates to the subject of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overscan and screen safe areas. From what i know, blooming is applicable only to vacuum-tube (CRT) TVs and not to flat-screen TVs. - hotwebideasChannel SurferEnTerr, thank you!
