Custom Channel dies after 2 hours

I have a custom channel (in beta) that just stops displaying after 2 hours.  I set up a video camera on it to record the behavior and it just stops - no message.  page goes blank and then goes to home.

I changed the bandwidth saver setting but it's still happening.  Is there something else that might cause this behavior?  We've talked about possibly hitting a memory limit but it's very suspicious that it would die at exactly at 2 hours unless there was some setting or throttle I'm missing.
