Soundbridge M1000 Ethernet disabled. Anyone know why?

My old SB died last year and I found that I really miss it. So I bought one on eBay and I’ve got it working with one of my main stations, but it only works on wifi. When I look at Ethernet it says it’s disabled. Is there a way to enable it?

    Normally after you plug in a live ethernet cable and restart the SoundBridge it will show enabled.
    the SoundBridge prefers Ethernet so after you get that working you'll note Wifi is "disabled"
    it's one or the other.
