Will Roku carry Newsmax Plus?

I signed up for Newsmax Plus on Newsmax.com.  Today I went to Roku’s Search to find Newsmax Plus.  It wasn’t there.  Will Roku carry Newsmax Plus?

      I signed up this morning too. It's not on Roku or youtube. I don't want to watch it on my phone or PC, where I have no problem viewing it. I want it on my smart TV's. If I don't get it on my TV's by the end of my free trial, I will not continue paying for it. Maybe it will take a few days to get it rolling on apps.

        Newsmax should not have switched so suddenly to a pay wall without having the apps already in the stores and ready to go. I signed up too and no plus apps are anywhere to be found! It’s ridiculous! This is newsmax’s fault, not Roku’s. And Newsmax is silent on it, no communication whatsoever.

      Spoke to Roku customer service. They said they’re not gonna be carrying it. You need to have sling TV there app will always be the old one so that’s the answer. I am so pissed.

    I paid for the new NewsMax+ yesterday but today I'm unable to access this new app on Ruku TV. It does not show up when using the Roku Search (only the free one). This appears to be a setup issue with Roku and Newmax+ not rolling this out to easily.

      Yes .. same issue just purchased today 11/1/23…disappointed can’t get on TV

      Just purchased Newsmax plus subscription on phone but cannot access on Roku TV.

        Yes…. Paid for a year this morning… no App available… but they at least let me know my free trial ends November 13

      Customer care so they’re not getting it unless you have sling TV it’ll always be the old one

        Chill out Anonymous 

        They are saying that Newsmax plus comes AS A CHANNEL with sling tv’s news upgrade.

        Otherwise, you’ll still have the option to pay and watch it with the Newsmax plus app (whenever it comes out)

      I just spoke with newsmax. They told me that the newsmax app will update tomorrow on Roku!!!

    I did the same.  Entire situation is ridiculous

    If I cannot watch on my TV through Roku, I am not paying the $50

        I just contacted them as well.  Very disappointed today.  Even online is constant "buffering".  I refuse to have to use my laptop to CAST to my TV.  They better get their stuff together, or they'll end up like another Disney disaster!!

      At sign up page there's a Roku icon. So it should be available through Roku.

    We don't have any updated information to share and encourage you to please reach out to the channel partner. Per their public statement:

    As of Nov. 1, the popular Newsmax channel will go behind a paywall due to cable agreements — and will no longer be streaming for free on services like Samsung, Roku, Vizio, LG — or on smartphones.

    Please reach out to Newsmax with further questions. The Roku Channel offers free live news channels 24/7.

    I signed up as well and can’t find an app. I hope they add it, we just came back to streaming through Roku after 6 months of no tv other then an antenna because we wanted Newsmax.

    Other than The Roku Channel, Roku is NOT responsible for writing apps. It is up to Newsmax to write a Roku app or other way to watch. It seems as if this paid plan came up with barely 24-hours warning and they didn't think of the consequences.

    I signed up for Newsmax + and it indicates that it is available on Roku but I can't find it anywhere.

      I can’t find it either! Frustrating! I went to settings and hit reset to download current content/updates and it still wasn’t there.

        I'm having same problem!! Frustrating!! Paid for it on my phone which doesn't help either. UPDATE; Had a discussion with Customer Service and was told that they are aware of this issue and Techs are working to update feed.

        Roku has little to nothing to do with it.  Newsmax dropped the ball.  From the numerous threads about this, it's pretty clear that it's coming soon.
