When you say: turned the Roku off and on, are you talking about pulling out the power plug? Rokus don't normally "turn off" so describing what you are doing may help. If you are using the power button on the remote (if your remote has one) then that is for the TV. I suppose it's possible that a power code for a TV might coincidentally look similar to a Roku code to launch prime???
Hello - Thanks for the response. You are correct, I meant turned my TV off and back on to see if it auto started Prime (after I did the factory reset) and it did. You bring up a good point though.... the Roku isnt shutting off and back on so the remote must somehow be triggering a code to start Prime. I am using Logitech Harmony remote so I wonder if it is somehow triggering it to start Amazon when turning on the TV?

Yes! Try turning on the TV with the TV remote instead. In addition to the possibility of an overlapping IR code, I believe the Logitech Harmony has actions/scenes/macros that allow it to send a sequence of commands for a single button press. Perhaps it is programmed to turn the TV on and launch Prime on the Roku?
