Univision Now App not opening

Hello, I have a roku express and I paid for Univision Now for my parents and they used to be able to watch it just fine. Suddenly a few months ago, when we try to open the app, it goes black and then back to the home screen. Its the only app that does that, all my other ones like Prime, Disney+, MAX all work fine, its just the Univision Now app. I already reset, restarted, uninstalled, reinstalled and did all the other troubleshooting advice on these community forums. I even went and bought a new Roku Express and same issue. I can use Univision Now just fine on my TLC Roku TV and Philips Roku TV so I’m curious if its something new where its no longer supported on Roku express? Any info is greatly appreciated!

We recommend updating your Roku Express to the latest software update. To do this, navigate to Settings > System > Software Update > Check Now.

      I have tried all of this, reset, uninstall, reinstall, software update, even bought a new Roku...it still doesn't work. I don't currently have a subscription because I cancelled it when I stopped being able to access it.

        We'd like to include your affected Roku device in the process of investigation and it would be appreciated if you could provide us with the following necessary details:

        • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and current software version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
        • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
        • Channel build version

        We'll be looking forward to your response so that we can check this further and provide you with a swift resolution.

    Has this issue been fixed for you? Mine did this on both tvs in my home but my phone works fine. I think it’s my roku account and it’s annoying

      We understand the issue you have encountered with the Univision app that does not open on your Roku device, and we're here to provide you with a troubleshooting step that you can perform to resolve the issue.

      Follow the instructions below:

      1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the star (*) key on your remote, and choose "Remove channel".
      2. Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
      3. Once your player/TV starts up again, go to "Streaming Store" on the Home screen and add the channel again.

      Ensure that all of the steps are properly performed for more effective troubleshooting results.

        So just today I discovered the Univision app FINALLY opens, but when I log in to my Univision account and click to watch live tv, its stays on the loading screen. I can play everything else on the app, all prerecorded shows, movies, etc…but live tv doesn’t work and its just in the Roku express, my Philips roku tv streams everything just fine.

    Try pausing and unpausing and click on to watch tv live again when you unpause and it works. It’s the only weird way to make it work. I tried it on 3 different live channels and it worked on the Univision now app on Roku but on my iPhone it works fina without doing that method. So try pause and unpausing method!
