The YouTube app keeps loading.

I have a Roku stuck - never had an issue with it, but for the past week, only the YouTube App has not been working, it only opens to the logo. 

All the other apps work fine. 

I've restarted the Wi-Fi, turned off and unplugged the Roku stick, and switched HDMI

    Looks like you're having issues accessing the YouTube app. We'll try to resolve this.

    Have you also tried these steps below?

    1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
    2. Restart your Roku device: Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart Now.
    3. Reinstall the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Streaming Store and add the channel again.

    Having the exact same issues in a different thread on these forums. I’ve tried everything suggested here and have received no answers. I’m just going to assume it’s a YouTube app issue. They must have made some changes and bricked it. I check for updates daily and still no fix.

      Nothing worked for me including the solution that was provided. I contacted my broadband instead and spoke to the technical team, they had change something on the router because of an update

        I dont go through a router.  My roku is in my car and uses my phone as a mobile hotspot.  This has worked flawlessly for over 2 yrs till a few months ago.  ive posted all the information they requested and tried every copy/paste set of instructions they suggested and nothing works.   Some threads on this subject are over 9 months ago... Come on roku, give us an update on this !!!!!  Tired of my youtube app being bricked

      Could you send over the software version of your Roku device? Also, if you have a photo or a quick video clip of the problem, that’d be helpful!
