Sling only app that will not connect

Frustrated that I can't  watch sling - connectivity issue.  Roku says connected to public but apps are  connected to my home.  Nobody  knows how to fix.  Usual reboots, etc. done. About ready to cancel unreliable  accounts!! Sling is the only app with this problem!

We understand you're trying to resolve this Sling channel issue, and we appreciate the attempts.

If you haven't tried other troubleshooting steps, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Remove the channel: navigate to your Home screen, move to the right, highlight the app, press Star*, then select Remove channel
    2. Clear cache and data: From the Roku home screen, navigate to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Network connection reset. Choose "Reset connection" and set up the connection once again.
    3. Perform a system reboot: navigate to your Home, select Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart
    4. .Re-install the channel: navigate to your Home, scroll and choose Store, look for the app, then press Add channel

If the above steps do not work, we suggest reaching out to the channel provider directly. Many channels and apps on Roku are developed, managed, and updated by the channel providers themselves. You can contact their support team here: Sling. Contact us for further assistance.
