Seeking solution to Closed Captioning stopped working

If your Roku drops closed captions even though all your settings are set to show closed captions try rebooting your modem and router.  It is not something one might normally expect to affect this but modems and routers do need to be rebooted occasionally to clear their own internal cache.  It costs nothing to try and might solve your problem.
