Roku keeps going to home screen while watching
I am and have been using a Roku device with my Vizio TV. It is plugged into the wall using Roku provided connections. It is happening with all channels after just a couple minutes of viewing.

I am having same trouble since yesterday 5/21. When I go to re turn tv on through app on my phone, device has ? as the picture and not the tv.
I am having the same problem. I think a fire stick may be better. was going to upgrade my roku, but there's NO support for this issue and I've wasted enough of my time re loading the show I'm trying to watch.
Ok, this started happening again. I have a Roku 4620X and now if looking at Hulu Live and in particular CBS on change of programming on the half hour or hour it reboots back to the home screen. All channels/apps are up to date and I have removed/rebooted and re-added the channel/app back and still no joy.
I’ll be moving to FireTv, after about 15 years of Roku use. 6 months of this **bleep** and Roku, loyal users, want to blame customers or copy/paste the same nonsense that doesn’t work. I have 2 Roku boxes and one stick. They all started doing this, about 4-6 months ago. This is 100% a Roku issue. It doesn’t matter how old/new the devices are. It doesn’t matter that you delete the apps and reinstall.
You lost me as a customer but, hey, you got 15 years out of me.
Same problem - happens on two tv's in the same house. Both have Express 4k+ Roku's. It happens to the tv's at separate times (tv in living room is watching same HULU live program as the tv in the bedroom) but the tv in the bedroom will go to the home screen and the tv in the living room won't or visa versa. It may happen in an hour to one tv and then happen to the other tv in two hours...it seems to be happening more frequently. Extremely frustrated and disappointed there is not a "fix" for this problem.
