Regular AMC app , timeout error message

Opened the AMC app (not +) to watch the latest episode of TDW: DD. I repeatedly get this error message "check your internet connection 504_timeout". The app is currently up to date. I deleted then reinstalled the app, and still get that error. Even signed out & back in to my Optimum account. Network connection is "good". I have no problem watching the LIVE stream. 

I'm at a loss...

    It looks like you're encountering an error when accessing the AMC app. Thanks for sharing the steps you've already tried. Have you tested a different internet connection, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if that makes a difference?
