Re: Disney Plus not loading, crashes back to home screen

Hi there,

 

My Roku express has suddenly stopped loading the Disney plus app. It was fine six hours ago 😞

The Disney logo appears & then kicks me out to the Roku homepage again.

I've tried:

Checking for updates to the Disney plus app & the Roku. None are available. My Roku last updated last month.

I've reset the Roku by getting it unplugged (I am disabled) & in the settings.

Removing the Disney plus app & re adding it.

Resetting my router.

I'm stuck, I can't get support from Roku & I've tried everything suggested. 

Any ideas?

    Same for us. Not working on any Roku device. App works fine on our iPads.

      Same here. Looks like it might've updated today and something went wrong? I've had no luck with any combinations or resets/redownloads/update checks

    Every time I click on Disney plus on both my upstairs and downstairs Roku (separate accounts) it opens it for about a second and the closes again back to the Home Screen.

    I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling multiple times. I have also tried deleting then resetting the Roku and reinstalling again. 
    none of this worked.

    I tried leaving it for the night hoping it would fix its problem on its own when I opened it again this morning but no such luck.

    I have checked the Wi-Fi connection and switched to a different Wi-Fi in case it was that but that also didn’t work.

      Did any body try to clear the Roku Cache, it worked for me.

      To Clear Cache Press
      These Buttons

      Home    5x
      Up         1x
      Rewind 2x
      FF         2x

      Your Roku will freeze for 30 seconds and then reboot.

      Peacock and Hulu not loading on Roku.  Netflix and Max are fine.  Did Roku system restart and deleted  and re-added apps.  Neither worked.  Peacock playing fine on iPad.
