Playback problems on Plex app on 4850X and TCL Roku TV
Over the last few days, we've noticed many movies in our Plex libraries are unplayable, but ONLY on our Roku devices. On Plex client apps elsewhere, everything in the library plays.
Mixed bag of 1080p 264 mkv and mp4, reasonable bitrates. Both Rokus getting 100Mb/s WAN on WiFi. On some, if I fiddle with playback settings to force transcode will play, but some I have to push it down to 720Kb/s, which is absolute garbage to look at.
Many of the now-unplayable movies we have watched before on Plex app on Roku, and everything still plays perfectly fine on any other Plex client and on Plex.tv, so it's just not working well at all on Roku platform for me right meow. I much prefer our Rokus, as I'm accustomed to the remote.
I just need to know what to do to fix this. The settings on the clients and the server have not been changed, so are still where they were when everything still played.
