Pausing YouTube videos causes video to disappear

It used to be that I could pause a YouTube video, then come back and just start the video. Now, it happens that sometimes the video "disappears", and YouTube is back at the beginning of the Home page...

Thank you! I really think it's a YouTube issue, but I'll give your suggestions a try. Wasn't sure whose problem is causing it, but, like I said, I think it's likely YT's issue.

Thank you! I'll give those suggestions a try. I really think it is YT's issue, though, but I appreciate your suggestions. Got a "ticket" in to YT, also, so we will see. 😉
