I have this same problem and just unplug the tv for 30 seconds and plug it back in solves the a problem but this is a pain to have to do this to a 3 month old unit I was hoping to find a more definitive solution that would last more than a couple of days.

If anyone has a longer lasting solution please let me know.

My sound stopped working on my ROKU TV so I followed your community advice; unplugged TV for 30 seconds upon plugging back in the sound worked again. (Note: I did try the screen menu option to factory restart audio but it didn’t work.) Sometimes I think this happens when there’s been automatic updates to my ROKU TV.
