Does not work!! I previously signed up for the "free" trial at newsmaxplus.com. I have a user ID and password. Tried to log in 4 times to the app. It kept trying to get me to sign up (even though it recognized my login credentials). Keeps pushing me over to the Roku purchase. I went ahead and resigned up for the monthly payment. It still kept kicking me out. Honestly, Newsmax is doing a terrible job rolling this out. They need to fire their development and project team. This is absolute incompetence!!! I really like Newsmax, but I am giving them another day, then I will have to go find another channel to watch.
Does it tell you you have been signed out every time you try to watch live? This is seriously pissing me off.
I am having the same issue and it is really ticking me off! It worked at first, then when I went out of the app to go to another channel, it is requiring me to sign again when I went back to Newsmax. Now I have signed in twice and still get the same error that I am logged out. I am hoping they work out these bugs soon!
And it's really fun logging back in all of the time with a remote on your TV...

If you have your browser remember your login credentials, then it doesn't ask you each time. UNLESS you have been idle for a long time
11/5/2023- Yes - every time I try to use the Newsmax plus channel, it tells me I'm logged out. I can sign back in and it works until I go to another channel and come back. This is not right. I don't need to do this with other streaming services. it works the same way for my relatives. Utterly ridiculous - Newsmax fix your app please!!!
May have found the solution to the issue I was having with needing to enter my credentials each and every time I access the new app -
- Make sure when exiting the app you hit left arrow to back all the way out of the app to the point where it asks if you want to exit and then respond yes. Don't just hit the home button - after doing that once I was able to return without redoing my username and password. There is no exit item in the menu, so you need to left arrow until prompted to exit. worked for me on all my TVs. - good luck!
Same thing happened to me. I had to put in payment again but it failed. I finally hot it to work but do I have to login every time I want to watch Newsmax?
Yes. If you are watching Online, it will ask you to sign in each time. Depending on how long you are "idle". If you have the APP on your ROKU device, then it will automatically take you there with no sign in. You have to register each ROKU device though on each TV.
I can't get or find the newsmaxplus app on Roku. Still have newsmax. Tried to search and also update app and nothing works on Roku.
Did you do an "update" to the APP first? You must update the app before logging in.

I experienced the exact same issue at my home and on my phone. Horrible roll-out of what has been my 'go to' news channel/source.
And why can't we talk to someone to resolve this issue?
I paid for a year subscription several months ago and still have to enter my password every few weeks, last week I had to enter it twice. The other subscriptions I have with Roku just never ask for it after the first time. what's going on with Newsmax?
I entered the password once in November and have not had to re-enter it again.

Nope, and tried to watch it again last night but gave up after trying to navigate all the error messages to view an old episode of Schmitt. This is the most frustrating streaming application that this subscriber has ever encountered. And neither Roku nor Newmax+ seem eager to help the subscribers who are having similar difficulties. Unless this is corrected with some assistance from "customer service" this subscriber will not renew that subscription.
