What brand and model of Router are you using? How old is the router? How many devices (not just streaming but internet of things (smart devices are connected to your router)? An older router may not be able to handle all the devices connected if it is an old one.
Have you checked if there is a firmware update for the router?
Have you tried using a network cable and hardwiring the Roku into the router and see if the problem still occurs?
