my paramount plus essential subscription is not showing up on Roku; keeps telling me to subscribe

My subscription for Paramount Plus essential is not working even though it is paid up to date. I turn it on, either on the Roku app or by searching for it, and it says to subscribe or start a 7 day free trial. I've deleted the app twice and reinstalled it, and did a reset, but no change.
