Teduardo You need to list the model numbers of your Roku players. There's far too many different versions to provide you with an answer without knowing that.
Many users have reported success changing their drives to FAT32. You would have a file size limitation of 4 GB, if that works for you.

I have Three Roku devices:
#001 - 4230X - 11.0.0 build 4180-04 - Updated Apr 20 12:32 pm
#002 - 4230X2 - 11.0.0 build 4180-04 - Updated Apr 20 2:10 pm
#003 - 4230X - 10.5.0 build 4208-04 - Updated Dec 9 1:45 pm
The first two cannot play media on an NTFS flash drive since the 11.0.0 update.
The third device still can.
However, after I reformatted a small 32GB flash drive with FAT32 All Three devices can play media just fine.
This is adequate for my needs. But if anyone else requires an NTFS device then this appears to be an upgrade bug that should be fixed.
Also, I don't know if FAT32 resolves the issue with larger flash drives. I have a 64GB that I routinely used, but for now the smaller drive is adequate.
On a lighter note, I just realized the 11.0 updates occurred on 420. So is it possible that the Roku people were "celebrating" when they issued the update, and did not catch this bug. :smileywink:
I was going to format my 2T external hd to FAT32 but that isn't one of the options. The only options are NTFS or exFAT.

I don't believe exFAT is supported. It would be a recent change it if works, as their support pages still say no.
From Windows 10 you can format a 2TB hard drive to FAT32 using the command prompt or Powershell.

This is NOT A SOLUTION. I have had a large hard drive connected to my Sharp TV for many years. Now after the last update it cannot be detected. Formatting to FAT32 is not a solution! Please fix this ASAP!
We never said it was a solution. It's a workaround until Roku fixes the firmware.
