For Christ sakes I’m paying to watch Roku tv and I get maybe 5 min of the show and 15 min of commercials. I get that is how you get money to run the business but I pay also to watch tv and all I’m getting is freaking commercials. So you’re getting paid from them and me but what do I get. 20 min of tv an hour. You need to fix this it’s annoying and not fair. I’m going to blog, post and share this in every dang place that I can. It’s ridiculous

It looks like you're seeing a lot of commercials while watching Roku TV. Some content—like The Roku Channel—is ad-supported and free to watch, so ads are expected there.
Could you let us know which app you paid for that’s still showing ads? That way, we can better understand the issue and help you out.

What app(s)? I'm not seeing any ads on Netflix, Prime, or Apple TV. (Except an occasional pre-roll ad for one of their own shows - always skippable I believe.)
By the way, I don't pay Roku for any of these - I deal directly with the content providers. Although I don't think that would make a difference in this case.
