How to Watch Bally Sports+ Without a TV provider

I purchased the Bally Sports app through Roku. When I try to watch anything live, which is what I thought I paid for, I am asked to provide my cable or satellite provider. I don’t have one. How can I watch live sports on the bally subscription that I paid for for a year? When I signed up, I don’t believe I saw anything that said I was required to have a cable or satellite provider. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    It's probably a better question for Bally.  Going through their website(s), it's not obvious what you get with Bally Sports+ and it seems to be highly dependent on your region.
